Learning foreign languages opens up opportunities and careers that didn’t even exist some years ago. Knowing foreign languages can help you to find a job in the fields such as science and technology, foreign trade and banking, international transportation, communications, government, teaching and librarian science.
In order not to lag behind the times we must learn different foreign languages. We realize it we learn. Both teachers and learners are interested in more effective and enjoyable language learning. Teachers-trainers are full of ideas on how to make foreign language lessons more active. What we need nowadays is a range of languages on offer for children to choose from. In school we have to make facilities available for teaching a wider range of modern languages. And it’s not enough just to learn the language. One has to learn the culture underlying the language because language is a manifestation of the culture.
English is a world language. It is the language of progressive science and technology, trade and cultural relations, commerce and business. It’s the universal language of international aviation, shipping and sports. It is also the major language of diplomacy.

I want to know foreign languages because I have always been interested in foreign countries, their customs and peoples. I want to master English because to know a foreign language is absolutely necessary for every modern specialist. Everything depends on our own efforts. And I understand it and therefore do all my best to learn English.
