Two-faced baby born in Pakistan

In the Pakistan city of Rawalpindi it was born a child with a rare abnormality of development. He has two faces on one head.

The child's mother, 30-year-old Sahid Parvin gave birth to a baby on September 23. Pregnancy held its perfectly normal and none of the doctors could not identify the anomaly at prenatal examinations.

The boy has two noses, two mouths, four eyes, although two of them are almost merged into one. It also had one brain. His illness is called "craniofacial duplication," and is extremely rare.

Director of the hospital can not tell whether such an unusual child will survive or not, and how he will live on, but notes that the mother is very shocked and "very concerned about his future."
